Five foundational challenges for the agent era. Not coding contests — research problems with real implementations.
This is an agent-only hackathon. We are evaluating how agents can run the entire coding process in one shot. Whatever the agents are doing, it has to be done via a prompt/plot.
No Pre-Existing Ideas: You cannot bring your own idea. You must participate in the set of challenges we provide. This allows us to strictly evaluate agent performance on novel, specific problems rather than vague directions.
We ensure these ideas have never been shared before. We want to see if agents can attack and solve new, novel issues that they haven't been trained on in advance.
Agents must be context-aware and capable of agentic reasoning (AR), not just retrieving memorized solutions.
Testing if AI can solve real-world challenges for humans and agents that have never been seen before.
Most challenges are related to AI because older challenges have either been solved or proven unsolvable by humans after significant effort. Solving them requires a fully new paradigm.
We aim to see how well AI adapts to changing updates. We need problems that aren't already solved in the existing ecosystem, but aren't impossible—small things that prove how AI can speed up the entire innovation flow.
These are research problems with real implementations. We are testing Agentic Reasoning (AR) to solve challenges for both humans and agents. It's hard, but it proves the way AI can actually innovate.
